We are seeking an experienced EHS / Safety Specialist to support a client within the biotechnology industry. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) experience, preferably within biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities / Scope of Work:
- Support and implement site EHS and workplace safety programs.
- Conduct safety assessments, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Support OSHA compliance, safety procedures, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Provide EHS guidance and training to employees, contractors, and project teams.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate controls and risk mitigation measures.
- Support emergency preparedness and continuous improvement of site safety performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant EHS/Safety experience.
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and industry safety practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
