Summary:
SOLTECHPR is seeking a Project Manager Consultant to support digital transformation initiatives for a public-sector client. This role will provide structured project management support across initiation, planning, execution, and closing phases.
The consultant will coordinate workstreams, manage schedules and dependencies, support stakeholder communication, track risks and issues, and use Smartsheet and related tools to provide visibility into project progress.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate assigned projects and initiatives across the full project lifecycle.
- Clarify project objectives, scope, stakeholders, roles, responsibilities, and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain project charters, project plans, schedules, resource plans, and communication plans.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality expectations, dependencies, risks, issues, and changes.
- Coordinate with business, technical, and external stakeholders to align priorities and execution activities.
- Configure and maintain Smartsheet workspaces, dashboards, templates, timelines, and project tracking tools.
- Lead project meetings, track action items, and provide regular status updates.
- Monitor project progress and escalate risks, issues, and decisions as appropriate.
- Maintain transparent reporting through dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Support compliance with applicable policies, standards, and governance expectations.
- Facilitate project closing activities, including stakeholder acceptance, transition to operations, lessons learned, final documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience managing projects, technology initiatives, operational initiatives, or digital transformation efforts.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams.
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong meeting facilitation, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification.
- Experience in government, public sector and/or regulated industries.
- Experience building dashboards, status reports, project plans, RAID logs, and executive reporting materials.
- Experience supporting technology implementation, workflow automation, process improvement, or change management initiatives.

Pay Range: $42-$47 per hour
